Situated alongside the Caldon canal, Endon's Post Lane fields offer wonderful Staffordshire Moorland views in every direction. The facilty improves year by year. An artificial track at the centre of the club's upper playing area allows greater space and facility for additional contests and training opportunity. The development also increases the size of the main field allowing the club to meet ECB requirements for a top class playing facility.

In 2017 the new SMJCL structure means that we now field an U-8, U-10, two U-12 sides, U-14 and an U-16 outfit. These join the established Kidsgrove U-13 side who play on Sunday mornings. The junior sides are guided and, we hope, inspired by our senior teams: First XI (NSSC), Second XI (NSSC), Thirds (Stone L.) and the Ladies softball (New festival league).

We continue to promote the long term ambition of populating our senior teams with home-grown talent but will always welcome imported players who are keen to join our happy band.

At the present time there is no formal application procedure for potential new members and we will do everything in our capability to cater for all who wish to join us. Potential new members need to contact Andy Bullmore or pop down to the club on a Friday night when a club officer will be in attendance to guide you through the paperwork.

Membership also includes access to the growing number of social events that take place on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday night is especially aimed at families allowing parents to relax at the bar or in the grounds while their children receive extensive training from our growing qualified volunteer force of coaches. We are always looking for parents to take on active roles at the club so don't be afraid to put yourself forward if you want to make a contribution.

In 2017 we welcome back our popular Australian import, Simon Read, who will be joined in the first team's bowling attack by Marlon Martin from Meakins. Gaz Abbotts also joins us from Bagnall and Norton to lend experience to our ranks. We wish our new and old faces the very best of luck in the coming season.

A special mention for our Ladies, team who have done so well in the indoor winter league in readiness for the summer. If there are any Ladies out there who would like to have a go do not hesitate in letting us know.

Have a great season everyone
